A One day gorilla tour in Rwanda is becoming very popular to travelers with little time in Rwanda – Africa. In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel in Kigali by 4:00am after breakfast and drive for 2hours to Volcanoes National Park, a home to the world’s last remaining population of the critically mountain gorillas.
Assemble for a 30 minutes briefing at the headquarters before setting off for the adventurous gorilla trek in the virunga hills in the rain forest. Packed water is recommended since trekking may take 2 to 7 hours depending on the movement of these gentle giants in their natural environment.
A maximum of 1 hour is allowed with gorillas for photographing and and observation. Then retreat to Ruhengeri town for late lunch, later transfer back to Kigali where the tour ends.
